"Several years ago I was encouraged to create a personal mission statement.  "To give my all if I give at all," is what I came up with.  Although it seems to be the story of my life, I've always disliked being a "jack of all trades and master of none."  But I've learned that as long as I do my personal best, I've mastered in eyes of The Master, and that's all that really matters. As you take a glimpse into my world, I pray that it will inspire you to change the world.  It sounds like an impossible feat. But if you can affect change in the life of one, you've changed the world already."

Husband. Father. Pastor. Musician. Singer. Songwriter.

William Carter, Jr., a native of Goodlettsville, TN, is a multi-talented individual who ministers the Gospel through various avenues including writing, music and song.

William quickly embraced his gift for dissecting and teaching harmonies, which began when he sang a cappella gospel music at the age of four with his three older siblings. By then he had already composed his first song at age three.  At the age of eleven, William had already organized various choirs as well as groomed musicians and singers to enhance the services at his church.  He led his local church choir to winning first place in Nashville’s Citywide Annual Choir Competition 2003.

William did heed God's calling into the ministry at the age of sixteen, which has over the years, provided him with invaluable experiences that he has shared with the world through both ministry and song. This Dove Award nominated songwriter, currently on the billboard charts, and senior pastor of a thriving congregation is a well-known icon within both his international church organization and the Gospel music industry.

William traveled all over the United States spreading the word of God through music and ministry enabling him to gain notable exposure as an artist.  In addition to writing his own material for weekly lessons and sermons, William has written play productions, done theme-song writing and editing for major video productions and had his editorials published.

He has served as a professional member of the Gospel Music Association which awarded him 1st place in the Urban Division of the Academy of Gospel Music Arts songwriting competition.  Because of his success he was offered a position as the Director of Publishing for Remnant Entertainment Group and served the Nashville-based indie label for four years.

William currently serves The House of God Church international organization as an ordained elder and pastor of the headquarters congregation.  He, his lovely wife Nova, equally-talented daughter Aijalon and loyal dog Polo reside in Nashville, TN.

This gap-bridging book shuns the aspects of denominational-ism that have separated Christians. Alternatively, it explores the seven fundamental spiritual super-foods every Christian must ingest to be effective and relevant within this ever-changing society.

William Carter, Jr. takes you on an eclectic journey through his religious upbringing. His Methodist father and Pentecostal/Holiness mother exposed him to every facet of their religious beliefs and let him choose. Eat Your Ps details the bridges Carter built that meticulously connect Christians of every denomination.

Archbishop Wayne Felton of The Holy Christian Cathedral called Eat Your Ps a disciple-worthy tool for trans-generational and trans-denominational audiences. Even Crystal Bowman who has sold over 1 million copies of her books weighed in, “Whether you are Baptist, Pentecostal, Presbyterian, or another denomination, the biblical principles creatively outlined in this book will deepen your spiritual journey...”
